Happy New Year and a Card Share.

Just a little card share and also to wish you a very Happy New Year!

Will you make any New Year resolutions? I rarely do, mostly because I am the last person I personally want to disappoint... I don't want to have to look in the mirror and say, 'sorry Lorri once again we are not skinny, rich and successful, maybe next year girlfriend...' yea I will pass on adding more emotional baggage to my already over stuffed suitcase.

I also hope ya'll had a very Merry Christmas... I am only a week late...

I made this card base from vellum <<<< I am not sure if that is 'um' or 'em' but I am pretty sure you know what I am talking about : )
The balloons are punched from my old Martha punch, I love that punch! The string is from bo bunny and the designer paper is from bo bunny too - it is the 6x6 Winter Wishes Collection... I almost finished the entire 6x6, I am so happy, no leftover to drag into next christmas!
The white & kraft cardstock are just from cutcardstock.com, the white is neenah and the kraft is the recycled brown bag <<< that paper is great stuff!

Well that is is bloggies... this ends another year, out with the 16 and in with the 17... seems so hard to believe it... the year really did just fly by - I am getting old I need for the years to pass slower.

Wanna see my first Junk Journal?

Hi everyone! Happy New Year! I hope this new year is amazing for everyone reading - filled with prosperity for all you attempt and success in abundance too : )

Now on the the Junk Journal!

I know, I have made many albums and even a journal or 2 but never a JUNK journal!

I absolutely love the thought of recycling what might have been trash into my crafts... you know I am just an old tree hugger : )

I used up most of my Prima Romance Novel scraps, some of my 12x12 collection and killed a lil 6x6 pad I had some of - I am happy to have used up some paper!

 

I made the base from a file folder and I made some coffee stained paper to make the signatures from - for more info please watch the video.

I also did a follow up video showing how to make a gusseted pocket if that interests you : )

In the subject box you will find a link to original designer of the mini - I just copied her and added my own twist to it...
