OMGosh I made the cutest cards tonight - took me about 1 hour and then 15 minutes to make one on camera - so simple and unique! That included cutting the paper, inking and prepping the bags, heck even the hardest part, picking the paper! Not very often I get 4 cars in 1 hour and 15 minutes!

I think all of us have paper bags, either leftovers from mini's or ones we have earmarked for future minis : ) Get rid of a few on a couple of these cards!

I got the idea from Peggy, the very same Peggy as Jppeggy2 on youtube (here is a link to her video, and she is going to really show u how to make them : )

Anyhow here is a Pic of how adorable they are -

and you can watch my video if you want to see how simple one comes together : )

Have a wonderful evening - g'nite ~ Lo

Homemade glue gun stand and distress ink tools... from recycled stamp blocks!

Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Long time no see : )

I am up late this morning, really still my nite - YIKES it is almost 5 am! The time change has done me in! I will get a few hours sleep before I need to be up so it is ok : ) Hope all of you are reading this at a more normal time of day.

I took the rest of the rubber stamps that I am keeping off the blocks tonight and ended up with some neat sized blocks - so I made stuff!

I made a glue gun stand and some distress ink tools! Yes I did!

I still need to add the dowels to the glue gun stand but it will get finished tomorrow - I love it - small, space saving... and free!

The shapes might not be exactly the same as what you have stamp blocks but maybe you have similar sizes to work with.

Tell me what you use those leftover stamp blocks for plz - I have a whole sack filled with them - the wood is so pretty I just hate to toss them out.

I think I could catch some ZZZzzzzz's now - so goodnight.... or good morning : )

Leave me a comment on what u do to recycle stuff in your craft space - and especially the stamp blocks if you have ideas - cya ~ Lo

And here is my youtube video if you want to see more detail.

Sweetie & Little Sister

Just thought I would share our new lil fur friends.

They came to us with the names of Princess and Larry - we could have no more Larrys in our house and I do not like the name princess- so we started thinking of names - we thought we were going to settle for Bam Bam and Pebbles - cute names for cute kitties but they would not come to them. I always called the girl sister and soon she started responding to it, so she got her's by default, but the lil boy is just a furry bundle of sweetness so I decided he would be sweetie, he does not really come to it, he did not come to Larry either, he responds to kissy kissy noises the best., but he will learn his name eventually.

It is not the best picture but I had to get them snuggling, it is too sweet!

They never get too far from each other, if they get separated lil sister mewels for sweetie and he stops whatever he is doing and goes to find her. It is adorable.

Were going to the vet tomorrow for a check up and maybe shots depending on their age, which will be determined by the vet. The vet said they will not fix them until they are at least 2 months, so I am hoping he determines them to be at least that old.

I will try to remember to share them more as they grow : )

til next post, Lo

Finally finished one of the Prima Romance Novel Albums.

Hey folks - I just wanted to come say Hi - I have been a lil busy the past few weeks but stuff is slowing down.

I have had sometime to craft a little bit - I made 2 minis and completed one of the albums for my nieces. Larry is going to mail it out tomorrow for his new niece, his nephew Stephens wife - I hope she likes it.

I am going to finish the other one this week and get it off to my niece - and then I will work on that dang afghan for a while - it sure has taken a long while to finish it up.

Here is a little preview of the album - you can follow the link below it to my youtube and I will tell you all about my "Opps" along the way in assembling it : )

Have a wonderful evening, Happy Fathers Day to all, and I will see you next time - Lorri

Rolled Rose Tut

I figured since I finally found better light I'd show how to roll the roses - I said I would after a previous video but I really do feel odd talking to myself doing these videos... so weird. I am not the best demonstrator, and I said 'weird' 50 million times during the video... I never say weird... til today : )

These roses are not my 'creation' I saw them once on youtube and I did not favorite it so I am having a hard time giving the original uploader credit... thank you to the original uploader and if you tell me who you are I will put a link to your video in the 'about' box : )

So you say what is so special about paper roses? Nothing, lol, but they are easy and cheap to make and look great on album covers... and if you make them white they are easy to color... they are not 'special' but they do make things look special : )

I colored these with Glimmer Mist. in the past I have used paint (acrylic and also water colors) if you want more of a flat color try a mist like sprinklers (october afternoon makes them) and if you want them super colorful and vibrant try Dylusions (Ranger brand) - those are my suggestions but you could pretty much color them with anything... they look really pretty with that furry embossing powder on the tips and glitter glue... - I am just sayin you can really dress these simple flowers up nice : )

Click the Picture to go to the Youtube tut.

I hope u give them a try, heck they would be a great thing to do with your kids they are so simple and easy!

til next time ~Lorri

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LARRY! I LOVES YOU!

I can't complain about the weather, it has been absolutely beautiful! Me and Morticia Addams have the same taste in weather :  )

I have been working on a couple more Albums this week - these I love! I probably just like them so much because of the paper, the paper I am using is beyond gorgeous.... it is gorgelicious!
